A distraught mother (Valerie Bertinelli) and a tabloid reporter (Rachel Ticotin) search for the woman's son, who was kidnapped by a black market baby ring.
There is an Oscar quality performance by Valerie Bertinelli as the mother of a sub 3 year old child. While outside Macey's department store in Manhattan, she is maced and her child stolen. The remainder of the movie revolves around her effort to find her child in conjunction with a reporter of a newspaper. All performances are excellent and the plot is believable with only a slight stretch of probabilities. Definitely worth watching for Valerie's performance.
