Lovely little relatively unknown 80's movie portraying life on a kibbutz from the foreign (non-Israeli) point of view. Its not all Club Med 18-30 fun and happiness for the volunteers from England, USA, Japan etc, as they discover that life on the kibbutz and in Israel isn't quite what they expected, and its only a temporary escapism from life at home, as home tends to creep up on you when you least expect it.
A sweet, rather slow paced romantic love story, won't tax the brain very much, but will leave you smiling and fulfilled.
