When the dad motions for the kids to get their lifejackets on, they both put them on. The boy starts typing his up and the girl does not. In the next shot (when the boat flips) both children have their lifejackets on and tied.
The kitten that goes into Annie's barrel is small and black. Once over the falls, when they open the barrel it is a larger white kitten.
