Good comedy

Ville-Veikko Salminen is Nigolai Savtsenko, the leader of the group of criminals.Other members are Aake Kalliala as Petteri 'Pete' Lipsonen, Hannele Lauri as Mandi and Vesa-Matti Loiri as the crazy Hikka.They plan a robbery of the van full of money.Before that they do a series of smaller, and often very silly crimes.Pentti Siimes is Inspector Koistinen and Ritva Valkama is his new partner Eevariitta Raitakari.Together they try to solve this crime wave, but the crooks are always one step ahead of them.Ere Kokkonen's Liian iso keikka (1986) is a mighty good comedy from twenty years back.Spede Pasanen is the producer.It has got a great team of actors.Vesku Loiri is awfully funny as he has been many times before.V-V Salminen is terrific.Kalliala and Lauri are great.The legendary Pentti Siimes and equally legendary Ritva Valkama make a brilliant team together.It's really funny to watch Siimes nearly losing his nerve with Valkama.Their chemistry works wonderfully as it has worked in every other project they have been together in.In this movie there are also the wife of Pentti, Elina Pohjanpää and their daughter, Tarja Siimes.Ritva's spouse Pertti Palo is also seen there.Then there are Simo Salminen, Jyrki Kovaleff, Juhani Kumpulainen, Juha Muje, Titta Jokinen, Rauha Rentola, Mirjam Himberg, Timo T.A.Mikkonen, Eero Saarinen, Taneli Mäkelä, Saija Hakola and many others.Also the retired news anchor Leena Kaskela makes a hilarious visit in the movie.Liian iso keikka has got that type of humor that pleases me.Sure I'm pleased by many type of humor, this only happens to be one example of that kind of humor.This may not be a movie for the intellectuals, if I don't count myself as one, but this is a movie for those who are able to laugh to silliness.And this movie sure has got a lot of that.It made me laugh and my whole family too.
