Rana Vikram Singh (Amrish Puri) has two sons, Rajesh (Feroz Khan), a police officer and Amar (Anil Kapoor), a fun-loving playboy. Rajesh has gone through a traumatic experience of losing the girl he loved (Sridevi), when she succumbed to drug addiction. He vows to fight this menace. An underworld kingpin Raja (Raza Murad) murders Rana's old friend. Reshma (Dimple), this friend's daughter, takes shelter in Rana's house. Amar and Reshma fall in love but the evil Raja pursues her. Rana Vikram Singh lives in a spacious farm-house with his wife, Laxmi and two sons Rajesh; a police officer by profession and Amar who looks after the farm and often gets his way with woman and alcohol. When a distant relative of Laxmi; Reshma comes to reside at their bungalow, Amar shares an intimate relationship with her which eventually turns to jealousy and murder. Now Amar is on the run from the police especially his older brother Rajesh who has been assigned the task of arresting him. In trying to get away from police Amar will find himself corned with some dangerous criminal elements who his brother is on the lookout for and who is now holding him as hostage to lure Rajesh to them so that they can do away with both the brothers.- Written by gavin (email@example.com)
Rana Vikram Singh lives in a spacious farmhouse with his wife, Laxmi, and two sons. His elder son, Rajesh, is a dedicated police inspector; and his second son, Amar, is a slacker, womanizer, and alcoholic. When an orphaned young woman, Reshma, comes to live with them, Amar gets intimate with her. When Rana comes to know of Amar's interest in Reshma, he warns him that Reshma is not suitable for their family. But Amar maintains an interest and is jealous to see Reshma in the company of Vikas, an employee at the farmhouse. A fight ensues between Vikas and Amar, and Vikas is killed. Amar is now on the run, and Inspector Rajesh has been assigned the task of apprehending him.
