The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

A couple is shown immediately following implied sex. Both are clothed, but her top is loose fitting and her nipple is very briefly seen.

A police officer asks a man if he's a faggot (homosexual) and insults him, by suggesting that he had killed a man in a garage, because he refused to pay for a blowjob.

A prostitute enters a room, loosely dressed, sex is implied (not shown).

A love scene is shown; it is shadowed and silhouetted, but is explicit enough to clearly show naked bodies, including a female nipple and behind.

In a scene one man implies to another that he has raped the other's wife. In the same scene this same man shows provocative and profane behaviour towards a few nuns.

Violence & Gore

One of the central themes of the movie is vicious sword fights; these fights are frequent and almost always end in decapitation.

A man is brutally beaten and his left left bloody by a mob, with kicks, punches and headbutts.

Many types of violence are present, including people being shot, cut and stabbed by knifes and swords, hit by a car.

A man kidnaps a woman and uses her as a hostage.

Profanity

Language is present and while infrequent, it is harsh, and may be upsetting to some viewers.

There are probably around 5-10 uses of the word "fuck" and its derivatives; other language such as shit, damn, and hell are also frequent. "Chr*st" is also used as cursing

Some alcohol and smoking.

The protagonist is shown drunk in one of the flashback scenes. (The whole scene in question is mainly for comic effect, though.)

Occasional references to drugs.

Most of the scenes of swordplay are intense.

The villain is very disturbing in his carelessly violent behavior as well as in appearance. One scene in particular involves him driving at high speed through the city playing chicken with other vehicles causing them to crash and striking several pedestrians, all while laughing and joking loudly.

The movie is constantly intense
