Character error

Mickey's audiometry doctor tells him he has a loss of hearing in the "high decibels" region. He clearly meant "high frequency" region, as "high decibels" refers to increased loudness.

When Hannah, Holly, and Lee meet for lunch, the camera zooms in on Holly right after they sit down, and begins to move in a circular motion around the table. When it passes behind Hannah, the shadow of the camera appears briefly on the back of her head.

Factual errors

Elliot buys Lee e.e. cummings's "Complete Poems 1913-1962." The poem "somewhere i have never traveled, gladly beyond" is on page 366, not page 112.

Miscellaneous

In the record store, among the index dividers labeled with the names of jazz artists is one labeled Suburban Lawns (an L.A. New Wave band). It is out of place for the section, both by genre and alphabetically.

Plot holes

In the "Lucky I Ran Into You" segment, when Mickey spots Holly in the record shop, he introduces himself by saying, "I don't know if you remember me..." (obviously referencing the horrible date they had years earlier). However, Mickey and Holly had been brother- and sister-in-law for years when Mickey was married to Holly's sister, Hannah. Especially considering how close Holly and Hannah are, it's very unlikely that Mickey would have reason to believe that Holly wouldn't remember her former brother-in-law.
