Watch Taylor Lautner Rock Out!

1 November 2009 8:59 PM, PST | Reel Empire | See recent Reel Empire news »

With all the filming, television appearances and dates with Taylor Swift, you'd think "Twilight" actor Taylor Lautner would be absolutely exhausted, yet the star managed to find time in the midst of his busy schedule to rock out with a guitar. No, not a real guitar. Lautner recently visited the "One Air With Ryan Seacrest" Green Room where he jammed with a bunch of others to "Eye of the Tiger" on "Rock Band". Though Lautner isn't exactly the best at the playing the game, it was still a joy to watch him struggle in matching the colors on his guitar to the corresponding colors on the screen. Read on to check it out! You can see Taylor Lautner and the rest of the gang in "Twilight: New Moon" when it hits theaters November 20!

Because You Asked For It: Stallone Wants To Make Rocky 7

25 October 2009 4:15 PM, PDT | FilmSchoolRejects.com | See recent FilmSchoolRejects news »

Several sites are reporting that, according to an interview with Tele5 Germany, Sly Stallone wants to make a seventh Rocky movie. But can it make up for Rocky IV? Will it be better than Rocky IV? Doubtful, on both accounts. But what more could you ask for? Rocky Balboa was surprisingly solid, and the Rocky franchise is one of sports movies' greatest. So, go learn German, read the interview, and report back to us. Translated from Babel Fish, the text looks like this: I know people would laugh at it, as I would if someone were making The Godfather Part 10. Enough! But I also know that if I succeed, it will be because this is a film about aging, not about boxing. I know it will provoke criticism. Even my wife said to me, Leave it. You'll embarrass the children. But I said, if I do not try, I an a very unfortunate man. One »

16 October 2009 10:04 AM, PDT | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

In this week's Sound Bites -- brought to you by racial profiling, half-assed cheer moves, and gay magic -- Tina Fey and Ted Danson duke it out for Mvp, Jane Lynch proves she is composed of solid white gold, I do a truly horrible Oprah impression, and we do know what Butters is saying. Stare motionlessly at mathematical equations while listening to "Eye of the Tiger" and then press play below for the best of this week's TV. »

Celebrity D.J.s' Top Five Favorite Running Songs

13 October 2009 10:23 AM, PDT | Vanity Fair | See recent Vanity Fair news »

I started gearing up for the New York City Marathon in July, and 408 miles' worth of training runs later, the 26.2-mile race is now only 20 days away. While I was running up Central Park's killer Harlem Hill near the end of a 20-mile run the other day, I could concentrate on only one thing: wanting to rip my headphones out of my ears! I've worn out the workout music I have in my iTunes library. If only I could have the world's best celebrity D.J.'s make play lists for me, I thought. Which, as soon as I took off my Saucony sneakers, is exactly what I requested from D.J. Cassidy, the unofficial D.J. of Barack Obama's administration; Mia Moretti, Katy Perry's pal who has set up shop in the D.J. booth at big blowouts such as the Life Ball in Vienna, Austria; D. »

'Big Bang Theory': Raj, deported? Sheldon to the rescue!

13 October 2009 1:35 AM, PDT | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

Alas, filmmaker Chris Columbus does not appear to tweet (I checked), so we must for now remain bereft of his feelings concerning Leonard, Sheldon, Wolowitz, and Raj's tradition of celebrating "Columbus" Day by watching the Columbus-penned generational touchstones Goonies, Gremlins, and Young Sherlock Holmes -- probably the nicest Columbus Day joke ever made about the Home Alone director, in fact. (And yes, Young Sherlock Holmes is indeed a touchstone, if only because it is the first major motion picture to feature a character fashioned entirely via computer.) (Whoa, got a bit Sheldon up in here. Apologies.) The holiday merriment was short-lived, »

The Big Bang Theory: The Pirate Solution

12 October 2009 11:24 PM, PDT | AOL - TVSquad | See recent AOL - TVSquad news »

(S03E04) Wow. I'm pretty sure Raj had more lines in this episode than he's had the entire season -- and he even shared scenes with two different women! It was nice having Leonard and Penny in their relationship, but in the background. Now that they're together, I'm glad the writers don't feel as though they need to focus on them every single episode. It makes sense though: sometimes your friends are going through some things, and you're just off having sex. It happens.

I really enjoyed this episode, but I'm not sure there's much of a need to talk about anything besides the amazing "Eye of the Tiger" montages. Not since, well, ever, has staring at a white board seemed so thrilling. Sheldon, of course, should never be allowed to have employees, as he is in no position to lead anyone anywhere except, perhaps, an insane asylum. But I »

Who Would You Like to See Return to 'Dancing with the Stars'?

1 October 2009 4:46 PM, PDT | buddytv.com | See recent BuddyTV news »

If you're not having enough fun watching the current crop of celebs on Dancing with the Stars, ABC wants to know who would you like to see dance again in their dance floor.

The network has launched a sort of contest on their official site to determine the star which hardcore Dancing with the Stars fans would like to see make a return for a very special performance later this season. The type of dance has already been determined - the very exciting paso doble - as is the music - "Eye of the Tiger" (why again?), but for the next two weeks, there will be voting to pick the star to give the special performance. There are currently nine candidates so far:

The Simpsons Quotes: "Homer The Whopper"

28 September 2009 12:25 PM, PDT | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

How do you celebrate your ridiculously long lasting show with its twenty first season premiere?  You let Superbad wrtiers Seth Rogen and Even Goldberg pen the episode, of course!

In "Homer The Whopper," Comic Book Guy's comic, Everyman, was turned into a movie and Homer was cast as the lead role.  To make sure audiences could related to him as a super hero, the studio hired Lyle McCarthy (voiced by Seth Rogen) to whip him into shape.

So was Homer able to stay ripped for the movie?  Of course not.  What he was able to do was provide us with some fantastic The Simpsons quotes.  Here's some of our favorites from the episode:

Comic Book Guy: I played hardball with hollywood, the closest i will ever come to playing a sport in my life | permalink Comic Book Guy: You are acceptable!

Homer: Great, would you like to see me naked? »

Atlanta — A downpour couldn't cool Atlanta's excitement for pioneering Southern hip-hop group Goodie Mob's reunion show on Saturday night, which was billed as "Remember Atlanta." Cee-Lo, Khujo, Big Gipp and T-Mo hit the stage at Masquerade Music Park for the first time as a complete unit in a decade (although the group did not formally disband until 2002).

And while Cee-Lo may have had a highly successful career both as a solo act and with the Grammy-winning duo Gnarls Barkley, each member of the group got plenty of shine.

The show opened with Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" — an appropriate beginning since this four-man collective has survived many rocky times over the years. »

Our Favorite Montages: Braveheart

13 September 2009 1:03 PM, PDT | Cinematical | See recent Cinematical news »

Not all montages come from the heady, power ballad-filled days of the 1980s. Every once and awhile they crop up in big historical epics because you have to cut the running time of them somehow, and battle scenes are pretty damn expensive. No one can accuse Braveheart of skimping on the medieval carnage, but even Mel Gibson had to draw a line somewhere, and he chose to feature a nifty little montage of William Wallace traveling the length and breadth of Scotland after the disaster of Falkirk. He's down, but he isn't out, and he's keeping the fight alive as the Scots rally to his cause once more. It's like a 14th century Eye of the Tiger!

It's popular to hate on Braveheart these days, but this montage distills some of what I'll always love about the film: the gorgeous scenery, the kilts (I believe the mountain close-up is one »

Austrian Death Machine post a preview of Double Brutal

1 September 2009 11:06 AM, PDT | Fangoria | See recent Fangoria news »

I almost feel bad that we haven't given enough props to Austrian Death Machine around here. Fangoria readers should take notice, as the band is fronted by "Ahhnold", as in a comedic nod to the Governor of California, the hunter of Predators, The Running Man, the guy who had a Total Recall... you get it.

Well, today As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis and California frontman Ahhnold are back for round two with the release of Austrian Death Machine’s Double Brutal, the follow up to 2008’s highly successful (and, well, brutal) release, Total Brutal. With an appetite for all things barbarous, Austrian Death Machine ups the ante with Double Brutal. This two-disc goliath features one disc of all new heavy tracks in the tradition of all of Ahhnold’s greatest cinematic moments and a second disc of cover songs including songs originally performed by Metallica, Megadeth, Misfits, Judas Priest and more, »
