There's nothin' better than seeing a head explode on the big screen. Head explosions are always a dementedly fun little movie shock. YouTube user iiAFX has created a video montage showing off 61 head explosions from 61 different films. It's safe to say that this video is Nsfw and if you have kids I would suggest not watching it in front of them because exploding heads are considered extremely bloody and violent. This video is just ridiculous, but if exploding heads is your thing then you're sure to enjoy it! Check it out and tell us what you think!
Movie List (in order with video):
1. Hott Fuzz
2. Scanners

Decapitations have been a horror movie staple for decades. To celebrate this fact, here’s Phil’s list of cinema’s finest choppings, loppings and beheadings…
In onscreen depictions of violence or combat, when it comes to delivering a coup de grace, nothing is quite so effective or final as a decapitation. It’s the death stroke that can illicit applause, gasps, cheers, screams, or make you feel a bit queasy, but no matter what the effect, it seems that you never have to wait too long for another one to come along in the crazy, wacky, world of on-screen carnage.
However, as this list shows, there’s more than one way to skin a cat, and movie beheadings have proved endlessly inventive, a fact that explains why something as mundane and straightforward as a guillotine will find no place in this top 10. This list is an attempt to celebrate the most shocking, »

Director Lucky McKee brings Pollyanna McIntosh's wild river native from Offspring back to the big screen in The Woman
This Halloween is pretty lean in terms of new theatrical fare for horror fans to partake in. Thankfully, there is director Lucky McKee's latest offering The Woman, an original tale co-written by famed author Jack Ketchum. Together, they have conjured one of the funniest, most shocking thrillers of the year. And it's a must see for any lover of the genre.
Pollyanna McIntosh stars as the lone survivor of a sadistic cult, left to roam the wilds on her own. When a country lawyer (Sean Bridgers) captures her and chains her in a shed, the results are nothing short of gut wrenching, and often times, very hilarious. Its this fine mix of themes and tone that make The Woman a gleefully grungy can't-miss Halloween endeavor.

Hey peeps! Back in November we showed y'all the teaser trailer for Ruairi Robinson's short film called Blinky and now we have the full short and all the details for you to gasp at! Being that it's still indie horror month we are all over this!
Blinky is a cross between Wes Craven's Deadly Friend , Short Circuit and Child's Play mixed with let's say a crazy ass stalker/clingy type character and even stars Max Records from Where The Wild Things Are.
The short is shot exceptionally well and the story is as creepy as it gets! I love it and want my own Blinky now! This could be and probably will be turned into a huge Holloweird feature film! Check this out peeps!
