Trivia

The 'magic words' that Caín repeats are the only four patrimonial Spanish words that end with a 'j': "reloj", "boj", "carcaj" and "Ababuj" (the last one is a village in Teruel). Any other words in Spanish finishing with a 'j' are "loanwords" (not patrimonial), or derived from these. See more »

Nice, undervalued comedy about school life at a remote Andalusian town
20 March 2005 | by (Spain) – See all my reviews

Nice comedy about the not really new topic about how a young motivated teacher can turn around a gang of youngsters, fallout of the traditional school system. The values of real friendship discovered with the help teacher bring together heterogeneous children and make them discover their own strengths and ability to act responsibly for each other.

A very usable movie for anybody working with children and youngsters as a base for class or other group discussions. Unfortunately, not released on DVD or VHS, but can be found from time to time on Spanish (satellite or cable) TV.
