This is the fourth year publishing the list of television, movies, and books that I read throughout the year. It’s always interesting to look back on the content you have consumed with your viewing and reading habits laid out in front of you. It can be pretty scary for those not ready to truly look inside their own mind. For me, my biggest takeaway is always… “I need to read more books”. Looking through my 2017 media diary it’s hard to deny the fact I read zero books. I did however watch plenty of great television, and a few great movies. (Here’s to changing that in 2018).

2017 was the year in which my excitement for new television far exceeded my excitement for new movies. I continued my trend from 2016 where I felt I watched more television than movies. Television had a far larger impact on me, and sure there

Natalie’s Outlet Signs With UTA And Brillstein Entertainment Partners

Natalie Alzate, a lifestyle vlogger better known to her 4.9 million YouTube subscribers as Natalie's Outlet, has signed with United Talent Agency and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

Alzate’s content typically features Diy and life hack videos, as well as beauty and fashion advice clips. Her most popular video, 11 Pranks For Back To School, counts a whopping 44 million views. The 23-year-old also operates a second Spanish language channel called Natalie’s Outlet Dos, which has roughly 441,000 subscribers. Both UTA and Brillstein will work with Alzate to continue to build her digital businesses, as well as on offline ventures including licensing, touring, books, producing, and acting.

This had to be one of Rodney Dangerfield’s best movies, if not The best. I dunno, Caddyshack was pretty good but then again he wasn’t the star. This film allowed him to just go nuts and do what he did in a big way. Viola Davis Continues To Front Hungry For More Campaign

Academy and Emmy Award-winning actress Viola Davis, the Albertsons Companies Foundation and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (Eif) have come together again to continue the Hunger Is “Hungry for More” campaign, which is designed to raise awareness and funds to fight childhood hunger in America.

Through the generosity of Albertsons Companies customers, last year Hunger Is provided five million breakfasts to children in need, a number which the campaign will strive to match this year.

The Hunger Is “Hungry for More” campaign will run through October 15th in more than 2,300 Albertsons Companies grocery stores throughout the country, giving shoppers at Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, Shaw’s, Star Market, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Acme, and others the opportunity to contribute toward hunger relief efforts in their communities. Kate Winslet To Be Honored With Actors Inspiration Award

The SAG-aftra Foundation has announced it will bestow its Actors Inspiration Award to critically-acclaimed actress and philanthropist Kate Winslet, highlighting her career achievements and honoring her charitable work.

The nonprofit’s Patron of the Artists Awards celebration will also honor director/producer Judd Apatow, Academy Award winning director Kathryn Bigelow, and Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos for their roles in supporting actors and performing artists in their careers. The event takes place Thursday, November 9, at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.

Academy Award winning actress Kate Winslet has brought to life some of cinema’s most captivating and memorable roles. Horror Highlights: Shudder’s “Back to School” Collection, Comet Contest, Windy City Horrorama, Bad Exorcists, Lost Hope

For many kids, there's nothing scarier than "back to school" commercials, and with another autumn nearly upon us, the streaming service Shudder has highlighted a set of horror films that are perfect for that time of year when trapper keepers (they're still a thing, right?) and backpacks are in high demand.
