Aliens (1986) - Plot Summary Poster

Plot Summary

  • Fifty seven years after Ellen Ripley survived her disastrous ordeal, her escape vessel is recovered after drifting across the galaxy as she slept in cryogenic stasis. Back on earth, nobody believed her story about the "Aliens" on the moon LV-426. After the "Company" orders the colony on LV-426 to investigate, however, all communication with the colony is lost. The Company enlists Ripley to aid a team of tough, rugged space marines on a rescue mission to the now partially terraformed planet to find out if there are aliens or survivors. As the mission unfolds, Ripley will be forced to come to grips with her worst nightmare, but even as she does, she finds that the worst is yet to come.

  • Fifty seven years after Ellen Ripley had a close encounter with the slimE-dripping alien creature from the first movie, she brought back, this time, to help a group of highly trained colonial marines fight off against the slimy extraterrestrials. But, this time, the aliens have taken over a space colony on the moon LV-426. When the colonial marines are called upon to search the deserted space colony, they later find out that they are up against more than what they bargained for. Using specially modified machine guns and enough firepower, it's either fight or die as the space cadets battle against the aliens. As the Marines do their best to defend themselves, Ripley must try to protect a young girl who is the sole survivor of the decimated space colony.

  • Set in year 2179, 57 years after Alien (1979), Ellen Ripley is rescued by a deep salvage team during her hypersleep. After transmissions from a colony that has since settled on the alien moon suddenly stop (the colony is owned by Weyland-Yutani), Ripley is offered a chance to team up with a group of marines to descend on the moon and investigate the alien presence. A team of professional commandos along with Android Bishop, Ripley agrees to the offer and ready to face Alien once again. But this time Alien is not alone.

  • 57 years after the first movie Ripley is found by a salvage team, when she tell The Company about her encounter no one believes her, and she also finds out LV-426 has been colonized. The station soon loses contact with the colony and soon says Riley's story may be true so they send in some marines to deal with the situation. But will it be enough?

  • Ellen Ripley, the sole survivor of the alien attack on the mining ship Nostromo, awakens half a century later when she is found by a salvage ship. The welcome given to her by the "Company" officials is far from warm, since they refuse to believe her discovery of alien existence and strip her off her flight officer's license. Ripley also discovers, much to her horror, that the moon LV-426 where her crew had encountered an alien species for the first time, is now colonized by the company. But when all contact from the moon is lost Ripley is called back into action again as an advisor to a team of tough space marines with lots of firepower. To get rid of her recurrent nightmares about the alien creature, Ripley prepares for a final battle with the monsters - and this time, there are hundreds of them out there.
