The mother of Charlene's former boyfriend hires Ben to defend the woman who's accused of killing of her husband. Ben wonders why. She says that her husband was a philanderer and the woman was another one of his dalliances and she wants it known. Ben wonders who could have killed him and he naturally focuses on the family which includes the woman who hired him and the man's son.
