*** This review may contain spoilers ***
This was released on VHS and Beta back sometime in 1985, I think it was a new release for a December promotion at the time. It's a 30 minute cassette containing the funny and magical moments from various Disney classics.
There were several, like Dumbo, Robin Hood, Mickey's Trailer, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, The North Avenue Irregulars, Hot Lead and Cold Feet, The Love Bug, Herbie Rides Again, Pinocchio, Mickey's Fire Brigade, Swiss Family Robinson, Mary Poppins, The Absent-Minded Professor, Son of Flubber, and several others from the enormous Disney library. They were mostly scenes from the Disney titles that were on video at the time since all the other animated features were in the vault, they contain Robin Hood, Dumbo, and Pinocchio for a reason, because they were some of the only Disney animated classics on video.
It was pretty funny for me. I enjoyed seeing all the footage, especially from some of those I haven't seen. I think it would've made a good TV special as well. I guess it was made directly for video by the company.
A 5.4 out of 10 is pretty harsh. I guess I am a huge Disney freak, big enough for me to give this video a 10 out of 10. Not only is it a valuable collectible to me, but I was entertained.
