Trivia

This movie was reasonably unique in the Neil Simon canon in that it is the only one of his films that includes a significant contemporary rock soundtrack typical of many of the 1980s Hollywood youth comedies. See more »

Goofs

In the last game of the season, at the end of the movie, Palmer makes a catch in right field to end the top of the 9th Inning. The score at that point of the game was Houston 2 - Atlanta 1, but the scoreboard in the background of the catch shows Atlanta leading the game 1 - 0. See more »

The slugger strikes out

This had to be one of the worst movies ever made. Unrealistic and makes baseball look like a total joke. The acting was consistent with the movie.......terrible. Why did it take me so long to acknowledge this movie? The embarrassment of seeing it, I guess.
