When Big Bird, Ruthie, and Floyd are singing "Easy Going Day," in the shots of the water pump taken from Big Bird's side of the trough Floyd is holding a reddish-orange watering can directly under the spout, but in the reverse shots of Big Bird from Floyd's side, it is nowhere to be seen.
When Linda is retrieving the keys, Cookie Monster can be seen in the background peeking over Sid Sleaze, with his arms hidden. In the very next shot, he has both of them out and is holding a box of cookies.
When the Sleaze Brothers are pulled over at the end of the film, the markings on the officer's motorcycle indicate that he is a policeman. However, the end credits list the character as a State Trooper.
When the State Trooper tells the Sleaze Brothers they can tell they're version of their story to the judge Sid cries and Sam turns his head away from the Trooper but in the next shot when the Trooper tells Sid to be a man Sam's head is turned directly at the Trooper and in the next shot his head is turned away from the Trooper to which he tells Sid to shut up and turns his head back to the Trooper.
When Bert and Ernie spot Big Bird on the ground, they switch places. Normally it's Bert who's flying the plane and Ernie in the back. But when they see Big Bird, suddenly Ernie is in the front and Bert is in the back. This is corrected a few shots later.
When Big Bird is first arriving with the Dodos' home by car, they turn onto the street where they live and the speed limit sign says 40 km/h. They are supposed to be in the USA where all speed limit signs say mph. (The movie was filmed in Canada.)
In the scene where the Dodos and Big Bird are arriving at Canary Road, they turn left in the street. It shows that their bird house is on the left side. However, when pulling into the driveway, they are turning right.
