Kirk Cameron, 41, has gone from his TV teen idol days to starring in Fundamentalist Christian-themed movies such as Left Behind and Fireproof. Just recently, Cameron has also proven himself to be an outspoken anti-gay bigot, which has brought a swift response from the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). While interviewed by CNN's Piers Morgan, Cameron said the following about homosexuality: "I think that it's — it's — it's unnatural. I think that it's — it's detrimental, and ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization." Yesterday, Chuck Norris told a Polish TV show during an interview that he demanded The Expendables 2 be cut for a PG-13 rating. This meant toning down the vulgar language and some of the violence. Why did he demand this? For the kids. He wants a younger audience to be able to see this movie, which is full of old men and is intended for an older action audience.
A PG-13 rating doesn't quite make sense for this particular franchise.
Fans didn't want to believe it. The Expendables 2 with a PG-13 rating almost seems pointless, and maybe Chuck Norris was speaking out of turn. Well, actually, it does appear as though the former star of such R rated action classics as Missing in Action and Invasion U.S.A. is getting his way.
