I saw this back in 1985 when I was about 7 years old. A terrific movie. Even though it was a made for tv movie and couldn't compare to Rocky or Raging Bull, it stood on its own two feet. I enjoyed how the movie was about a Boxer but not so much about boxing. The relationship between Ray and his older brother made the movie more real. An inspiration to any Italian kid who wants to be a boxer, The Boom Boom Mancini story is a forgotten movie that shouldn't be. Maybe with some bonus feature and an interview with Ray Mancini, this movie could make its way to DVD someday. Keep your fingers crossed
