Very entertaining obscure 80s gem
30 September 2002 | by (Ohio) – See all my reviews

I just recently picked this video up at a rental store closing sale. I had never heard of the video before, but I do remember Father Guido Sarducci from Saturday Night Live. The tape only cost me two bucks, so if it sucked, I didn't really lose anything and at least I had something very obscure to show friends. But, I sat down and watched it, and I was extremely impressed. Father Sarducci was able to maintain the comic spirit throughout the entire show and he was hilarious at some points. While he is playing a character, which of course helped with some of the jokes, the man himself has very good comic timing. I thoroughly enjoyed this video, and I would say if you ever see this rarity anywhere, pick it up for sure, you will not be disappointed.
