Storyline

A crew of scientists arrives on a far, cold planet to examine archaic artifacts of unknown origin. They discover that their German enemies already have a ship there. When they seek their help after a failed landing, they only find the Germans' bodies, obviously slaughtered by one of the archaic creatures, awoken to new life. Now the alien is after them. Trivia

Some of the classic sci-fi props and gizmos in the movie are from Forbidden Planet (1956). Director/producer William Malone, a sci-fi fanatic, owns a collection of "Forbidden Planet" items (including Robby the Robot), and thought it would be fun to use some of them in his film. See more »

Goofs

The captain's name is Davison, but Wendy Schaal's character Sladen calls him "Davidson" about 75 minutes in, just after they electrocute the creature. See more »

Tolerable Alien Clone
13 October 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

An American team of space explorers is sent to the largest moon of Saturn; Titan, to discover what happened to the previous expedition. They crash land on the hostile world only to discover they are not alone. A German explorer has survived the death of his own crew at the hands of an alien beast accidentally released from suspended animation. Klaus Kinski is rather fun to watch effortlessly stealing a scene by doing something as mundane as munching on a sandwich. William Malone, who's claim to fame was the 1950s science fiction classic Forbidden Planet; directed this OK rip off of Alien. The special effects are quite good and they, along with the film were honored by the Academy of Science Fiction and Horror Films. Soon after it's release Titan Find (aka: Creature) fell into public domain.
