  • "The Wuzzles" and "The Adventures of the Gummi Bears," both cartoons created by Walt Disney's animation studio, debuted on September 14, 1985 and were syndicated to different networks, competing against each other in the same time slot. "The Adventures of the Gummi Bears" ultimately had a larger audience on NBC then "The Wuzzles" did on CBS, and "The Wuzzles" was canceled after just 13 episodes.
