Spartacus: War of the Damned came to a bloody end a couple of weeks ago but fear not as the show hits DVD and Blu-ray this Monday! To celebrate the release, we got to speak to both Liam McIntyre who plays Spartacus and Todd Lasance who plays Caesar about their roles and how they decided top play them.
Liam was put into a very difficult place when he took over from Andy Whitfield as Spartacus after Andy tragically died from Cancer in 2011. Andy was always set to come back to the show and when it was evident that he wasn’t able to, Liam stepped into his place. During the interview, Liam talks opening about how he wanted to make Andy proud and how he tried to take his own spin on the role rather than copying what Andy did.

Neighbours star Stefan Dennis has revealed that he would like to take part in Strictly Come Dancing .
The Paul Robinson actor said that his wife has been encouraging him to take part in the show, as she is a professional dancer.
Speaking to TV Week, Dennis said: "I want to do Strictly Come Dancing. My wife wants me to do it because I have got two left feet and she is a professional dancer.
"For me, Strictly Come Dancing isn't a reality TV programme, it is a talent show. Talent shows have been around forever. People love them."
However, Ashleigh Brewer, who plays Paul's niece Kate Ramsay, dismissed the idea of her taking part in the show as well.
She said: "Reality TV really freaks me out but I'm addicted to watching it. I feel like reality shows are so manipulated now for the producers to make you look like how they want, »

He started in Neighbours, made his name in Oz crime flick Animal Kingdom, turned up in Batman and now, as Hollywood's go-to sleazeball, is pulling heists with Ryan Gosling
"No, no, no – there's absolutely no problem. It's just one of those things, mate. I'd be very inclined to do exactly the same thing, and I know the subsequent fuckin' dread and all the other shit, so please, not at all."
Ben Mendelsohn had me at hello. An unexpectedly chilled-out hello, considering I'd phoned him an hour-and-a-half later than planned, slightly panicky, profusely sorry. Due to bleary-eyed, sleep-deprived email-reading, I'd got the time wrong, I'd got the day wrong, and would have been none the wiser had his publicist not contacted me to ask how the interview had gone. It's 8.30am in La and, luckily for me, not only is Mendelsohn at home in West Hollywood doing not a lot, he's »

Michelle Ang is one of the stars of MTV's latest teen drama series Underemployed - a show that takes a light and comedic look at life for a group of struggling graduates.
Digital Spy caught up with the New Zealand-born actress to chat about the show, some of her own bad jobs and her Game of Thrones ambitions.
For people who haven't seen the show yet in the UK, how would you describe Underemployed?
"Well it's a comical show, which talks about the new millennium, dealing with an age old trouble - this idea of being a kid with big dreams and then actually stepping into the adult world and realising those dreams and all those challenges which come with adult life like paying your own rent and negotiating your own way with a job.
"Our characters are also going through the transitions in today's slightly crappy economy. I think our show is quite unique. »

To paraphrase Yoda, “There is... another... Hemsworth.” It’s not as if Luke Hemsworth has exactly been hiding – we’ve known there’s a third, older brother in the family besides Chris and Liam for years now. But he’s limited his acting work to TV until the announcement in January that he’s joined World War I drama The 34th Battalion. But since that’s still waiting to kick off shooting, it appears his actual film debut will be crime thriller The Reckoning. In keeping with the sibling theme, Hemsworth’s co-star in the film will be Jonathan Lapaglia, younger brother to Anthony. The pair is set to play detectives searching for two teenagers who unwittingly shoot footage of a murder and are hunted by the criminals involved.John V. Soto has written the script and aims to start filming at the end of April in Perth. Hemsworth has »

Feature Juliette Harrisson 4 Mar 2013 - 07:00
Juliette picks five of geek TV's most memorable amnesiacs, feat. Buffy, Stargate, Fringe and more (but sadly, not Harold from Neighbours)...
This feature contains spoilers.
In reality, amnesia in its wide variety of different forms is a serious condition that can ruin lives. On TV, it’s an opportunity for romance, wacky hi-jinks and/or some serious angsting, depending on the cause of the amnesia and what the amnesiac gets up to while memory-less. Amnesia on television is nearly always retrograde amnesia (where the person forgets things that happened before the onset of amnesia) rather than anterograde amnesia (loss of short-term memory, a debilitating condition) and the amnesiac will always remember useful things like how to boil an egg, drive a car and speak English, but not specifics concerning their names, their family, their personal history, or, most importantly, who they were in love with. »

It has been said in the past that if there was a hypothetical CD that Kylie Minogue would be the A-side and her younger sister, Dannii, would be the B-side.
A fictitious sisterly rivalry created by the tabloids in the early 1990s saw Kylie and Dannii pitted against each other in terms of looks, style, music and career progression – that often saw the former come out on top.
But in 2013, with both sisters vehemently denying any envy or jealousy of each others personal or professional lives, I’m having a look at how the popularity gap has narrowed tremendously between the two Minogue sisters.
Dannii’s Looks
At the beginnings of Dannii Minogue’s career, she was Australia’s sweetheart. Appearing on Young Talent Time as a permanent cast member, she captured the hearts of millions of viewers a week and became one of the most sought after talents in the nation. »

Will Arnett has joined a comedy pilot from Raising Hope creator Greg Garcia, a move that makes Up All Night look even more doomed. The show focuses on a recent divorcee who realizes his own parents' marriage is pretty troubled.
America's Got Talent has found someone who can fill Sharon Osbourne's seat, adding Mel B (also known as Scary Spice) to the judges' table. Agt is not the former Spice Girl's first talent show job. She was a judge on the Australian X-Factor. EW also reports that NBC's summer staple might add a fourth judge to the table.
Mark Blucas has joined the cast of the drama pilot Killer Women as a DEA agent who solves crimes with Tricia Helfer's Texas Ranger. Wonder what this could mean for his Necessary Roughness gig?

The new Tomorrow People remake has found a director.
Danny Cannon - currently an executive producer and director on Nikita - will helm The CW's remake of the UK sci-fi classic, Deadline reports.
The original Tomorrow People aired on ITV for eight series between 1973 and 1979.
Chuck's Phil Klemmer has written a pilot episode for the Us remake, which will be executive produced by Greg Berlanti (Arrow) and Julie Plec (The Vampire Diaries).
Plec recently admitted that she had "always" wanted to remake the sci-fi series, which follows a team of young people who have evolved into 'homo superior' - developing special new abilities.
Cannon's past directing credits include episodes of CSI and CSI: Miami, and the Alcatraz pilot.
Other pilots in the works at The CW this season include period thriller Reign, starring former Neighbours actress Adelaide Kane, and Vampire Diaries spinoff show The Originals.

A spoiler-y new photo gives ‘Teen Wolf’ fans two more very good reasons to tune in to season three.
Colton Haynes may not be returning to Teen Wolf for its upcoming third season, but fear not, there will still be tons of shirtless werewolves running amuck in Beacon Hills. In fact, there will be twice as many thanks to twins Max and Charlie Carver, who make their half-naked debut in this just-released shot from MTV.
But don’t be fooled: though Max and Charlie may look good, their characters won’t necessarily follow suit. (Still, you’ve got to admit, the brilliant minds at Teen Wolf definitely know how to make their audience happy.)
Who Are These New Twins?
News broke in Nov. 2012 that Max and Charlie — who starred as the grown-up versions of Lynette’s twins on Desperate Housewives — would be joining Teen Wolf‘s third season as twin werewolves Ethan and Aiden. »
