10 out of 10 people found the following review useful.
Entertaining Musical Comedy, 30 May 2002
Author: donlhumphries from Australia

"Shanghai Blues" (English title) is spoken in Cantonese, but has English subtitles - in the version I saw. It's a most entertaining comedy with catchy tunes, and well worth viewing. The slapstick comedy action and farcical scenes, provide the humor; while romance is the general theme. Thoroughly recommended. Should be a classic.
