Trivia During the production shoot, star John Waters said in an interview with 'The Canberra Times' newspaper published on 24th October 1983: ''A story about mountain cattlemen and the high country automatically draws comparisons with 'The Man from Snowy River (1982)', but they were "totally dissimilar".
