‘Stranger Things’ Season 3: ‘Chances Are High’ Kali Will Be Back
[Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers from “Stranger Things” Season 2.]

Eleven’s sister may make Season 3 of “Stranger Things” a sibling affair. At the “Stranger Things: Inside the Upside Down” panel at Vulture Festival in Los Angeles on Saturday, the cast and crew of the Netflix series were on hand to reveal behind-the-scenes info from Season 2 and tease what might lie ahead.

In particular, brothers Matt and Ross Duffer revealed that Kali (Linnea Berthelsen) will most likely return for Season 3. “It would feel weird that we would’n’t resolve that storyline,” said Matt Duffer. “Chances are high that she comes back.”

Ross Duffer added, “We’re in very early days of Season 3… That’s not an official announcement.”

In the second season, “Chapter 7: The Lost Sister” was one of the most divisive episodes among fans and critics alike because it was a standalone adventure that took place outside of the action of Hawkins, Indiana. Even IndieWire’s

Stripes is becoming a TV show

David Crow Kirsten Howard Nov 17, 2017

Stripes, the Bill Murray comedy classic, is getting a single-camera sitcom on CBS...

In the race to create more content for television and film that echoes back to nostalgic properties, it was inevitable that one day it would be Stripes’ turn. CBS announced late Thursday that the comedy classic from Ivan Reitman, Harold Ramis, and the irreplaceable Bill Murray at the top of his lethargic disinterest is getting a television series.

Indeed, as revealed via Deadline, Stripes will be a single-camera comedy for CBS (so more Young Sheldon and less Big Bang) and will of course be a workplace comedy of sorts about the United States military. The project is being developed by the production company Whitest Kids U’Know, with Trevor Moore, Sam Brown, and Zach Creggar writing the script. Meanwhile Reitman, fresh off producing the Ghostbusters remake last year, will both be an

Dan Aykroyd Gives The Thumbs-Up For A Ghostbusters Netflix Series

Of all the many, many dormant properties that spring to mind when one is asked to name their dream Netflix series (Star Wars, Blade Runner, A Nightmare on Elm Street) Ghostbusters is right up there at the tip-top of our hypothetical wishlist. And it seems we’re not the only ones.

When Cinema Blend caught up with Dan Aykroyd, the outlet pitched the idea of a live-action spinoff series setting up shop at Netflix, one that could even roll back the years and take place in high school. Stranger things have happened and, as Aykroyd so rightly points out, Stranger Things has happened…and the ’80s-tinged original series has been a barnstorming success ever since.

As for the chances of Netflix picking up a Ghostbusters TV series, Aykroyd admitted that he’s fond of the idea:

Yes. Absolutely. Sure. Sure. I can see several possibilities there. You know? Take a

Dan Aykroyd Wants Ghostbusters Live-Action Netflix Series

Dan Aykroyd Wants Ghostbusters Live-Action Netflix Series
Ghostbusters is one of the biggest movie franchises in history and now it looks like we could see a live-action Netflix series according to Dan Aykroyd. Aykroyd originally thought up the concept for Ghostbusters as a vehicle for himself and fellow Saturday Night Live cast member John Belushi, but ultimately sold director Ivan Reitman on the project and the rest is history. The idea of getting more Ghostbusters projects off of the ground seems to have ramped up after the all-female reboot came up short at the box office and now it looks like Netflix's Stranger Things may have had something to do with the idea behind a live-action Ghostbusters series.

So far, there is currently a Ghostbusters animated movie in the works under the direction of Ivan Reitman that is rumored to take place through the point-of-view of the ghosts. Not much else is known about the project other

10 Things About The Crow You Never Knew
The Crow was a massive hit when the comic book tale was eventually released in May, 1994, but sadly, its star was no longer here to witness its success. The Crow is a dark, brooding, gothic, action filled meditation on revenge, justice, love, and the afterlife, strengthened with bits of dark humor and a haunting performance by the late Brandon Lee, who was tragically killed in an on-set accident.

The Crow is remembered for Lee's brilliant portrayal of the movie's hero, musician Eric Draven, who returns from the dead to extract revenge on the Motor City thugs who murdered both him and his fianc&#233. A supernatural bird guides Draven through Detroit on Devil's Night, one year to the date after crime kingpin Top Dollar ordered his henchmen to kill the soon to be wed young couple. Ghostbusters Spinoff May Be Told From The Ghost’s Perspective

Audiences remain divided on the 2016 reboot of Ghostbusters – directed by Paul Feig, and starring an entirely female team. Those divisions do not seem to have dampened enthusiasm for the property – for either fans or the studio – however, as producer Ivan Reitman recently detailed plans for the future of the franchise.

Addressing an assembled crowd at the Idw comic panel at San Diego Comic-Con over the summer, the man behind the original Ghostbusters movies provided some details on an animated film that’s currently in development.

“I think we have wonderful plans, both for an animated feature that we’re deep in design on already and a really great story. That’s going to surprise everybody, I think, when it comes out. And we’re dealing with Ghost World quite a lot. We’re looking at the film from a ghost point-of-view, and the Ghostbusters from a ghost point-of-view. I think

Flatliners (2017) review

The new Flatliners? Best not.

You can probably think of all the best and worst puns that we could load into this review without even seeing Flatliners. So, with apologies in advance, there's no better way to describe Niels Arden Oplev's mis-sold remake than this - it just lies there on the slab.

1990's Flatliners is a sci-fi inflected psychological horror, directed by Joel Schumacher and boasting an all-star cast. In the original, Kiefer Sutherland, Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon, Oliver Platt and William Baldwin star as medical students who conduct ill-advised experiments on themselves in the hope of proving that there is life after death.

In the 2017 version, it's Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, James Norton and Kiersey Clemons in the lead roles. The likeliest reason it wasn't shown to critics ahead of release is because, bizarrely, it's not the sequel that we've been led to believe it would be,

Father Figures Trailer Has Owen Wilson and Ed Helms on a Dad Hunt
Perhaps you haven't heard of Father Figures? That's because when the first trailer dropped more than a year ago, it was called Bastards. The team behind this comedy wised up, changing the title and giving you some time to forget. Now, they have cobbled together a new trailer, for better or worse, and here we are.

Arriving from Warner Bros. and Alcon Entertainment, the latest footage from Father Figures promises a Christmas comedy that will bring you back home. The movie opens on December 22, and it stars two heavy weights in the genre who've not been so busy lately. The movie teams the great Ed Helms with the always welcome Owen Wilson for the right amount of charm. It doesn't really matter how good or bad the script is, these guys will probably carry the material pretty far on their own.

Wilson and Helms play Kyle and Peter Reynolds, brothers
