What's the Most Popular Movie Title in History?

Once upon a time, there was an addictive little game called Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon (or The Oracle of Bacon). Surely you've heard of it? The '90s game was simple, but brilliant -- just about any and every actor (alive or dead) in Hollywood could be linked to the 'Footloose' star by only six degrees. It sounded impossible -- yet everyone seemed to be linked. Even Charlie Chaplin! See, he starred in 'Limelight' in 1952, which had Norman Lloyd, who appeared in 'The Age of Innocence' in 1993. That film also featured Pasquale Cajano, who was in the 1996 film 'Sleepers' with -- you guessed it -- Kevin Bacon.

But now there's a new challenge out there proving to be just as difficult -- find the most commonly used movie title.

Kevin Bacon has adopted an anagram name and a quirky new character for a hit viral campaign to sell Logitech Revue TV-top boxes with Google TV.

Ivan Cobenk is a pudgy superfan of the Footloose star, who first appeared online at the beginning of the month as part of the odd new ad campaign.

And Bacon's new character has proven such a hit, Logitech bosses are hoping to film more adds featuring the actor's alter-ego, who already has his own Twitter account, @Ivan_Cobenk, according to TV Guide magazine. »

The Notable Films of 2011: Part Three

Catch .44

Opens: 2011

Cast: Forest Whitaker, Bruce Willis, Malin Akerman, Nikki Reed, Deborah Ann Woll

Director: Aaron Harvey

Summary: The story focuses on three women being thrust into an extraordinary situation involving a psychopathic hitman, a grizzled trucker and a delusional line cook.

Analysis: Oddly little is known about this indie crime comedy aside from the three lead female roles have gone through more than a couple of rounds of casting musical chairs. The likes of Maggie Grace, Kate Mara, Laura Ramsey, Sarah Roemer, Lizzy Caplan and Lauren German were all attached at one point or another before the final trio of Malin Akerman ("Watchmen"), Nikki Reed ("Twilight") and Deborah Ann Woll ("True Blood") were settled on.

Bruce Willis, Forest Whitaker, Michael Rosenbaum and Brad Dourif also star with Willis as a crime boss behind everything that happens and Whitaker as a dangerously unstable assassin. Aaron Harvey, who last directed »

The Notable Films of 2011: Part Two

19 December 2010 2:05 AM, PST | Dark Horizons | See recent Dark Horizons news »

The Beaver

Opens: March 23rd 2011

Cast: Mel Gibson, Jodie Foster, Anton Yelchin, Jennifer Lawrence

Director: Jodie Foster

Summary: A depressed toy company CEO with a failed marriage starts to wear a beaver puppet on his hand as a form of therapy, much to the initial bemusement of his family. He soon begins talking only through the character.

Analysis: This time last year, excitement was quietly brewing for "The Beaver". Gibson's drunken tirade a few years before hand wasn't forgotten, but enough time had passed that this looked to be the year of a potential comeback for the actor.

The thriller remake "Edge of Darkness" and this were his first on screen roles in ten years, 'Beaver' is also his "Maverick" co-star Foster's return to the director's chair fifteen years after her last feature. The script topped the 2008 Black List and scored rave reviews for its blend of sophisticated humor and sad pathos, »

Kevin Bacon had everybody cut "Footloose" back in 1984. Julianne Hough wasn't even born until four years later, but now it's her turn to shine in the remake.

Access Hollywood's Maria Menounos took a trip down to Georgia to see how the two-time "Dancing with the Stars" champ is making her own mark on the rebel dance classic.

"This is not a dance movie at all," Julianne told Maria. "I mean, there's explosions and fights and crying... and one dance."

Julianne is of course joking. "Footloose" is the ultimate dance movie. It's just the action that has ...

'Footloose' Remake Images: First Look at the New Stars

Twitter: a vast social network, an efficient way to track your friends, a useful place to stalk your favorite celebrities and if you're director Craig Brewer, it's where you debut images from your upcoming remake of 'Footloose.'

First a 1984 Kevin Bacon-starring nostalgia favorite and then a 1998 stage musical, 'Footloose' is the easily parodied story of a city boy who moves to a small town where dancing and rock 'n roll are banned, and then proceeds to change everyone's minds by being awesome. Although multiple directors have attempted a remake in the past few years, Brewer is the first to actually get it off the ground, with filming in Georgia just about ready to wrap up. The man who made 'Hustle and Flow' and 'Black Snake Moan' may seem like an odd choice to take on this property, but considering how »
