This article may contain spoilers for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
This week we got a big first trailer, a TV spot, and a new poster for Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and they were packed full of so many interesting tidbits! Marvel Zombies! Wanda back in Westview! Strange Supreme! Defender Strange! Professor X! The Illuminati! Captain Carter! Rintrah! Gargantos! America Chavez! The Savage Land?! But one thing the trailer didn’t show us was who might be the puppet master of this terrifying multiversal breakdown of reality, despite Mordo pointing his finger straight at Strange.
Marvel’s official synopsis for the highly anticipated movie reveals a little more, however. It confirms that in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Stephen will traverse “the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse” to confront “a mysterious new adversary.” That does seem to...

Peacock to Develop Millennial Nun Drama From ‘Thing About Pam’ Creator Jessika Borsiczky (Exclusive)
Peacock is developing a one-hour drama series about millennial nuns from “The Thing About Pam” creator Jessika Borsiczky, Variety has learned exclusively.
The series is titled “Called” and is based on the Huffington Post article “Behold, The Millennial Nuns” by Eve Fairbanks. The series will follow three young women at a convent, each on their own path, and each carrying secrets that force them to confront temptation, scandal, and self-discovery as they struggle with whether the answers do in fact lie in the Divine or back in the world they’ve left behind.
Borsiczky is writing the series and will also serve as an executive producer. Kristen Campo will also executive produce, with A+E Studios producing for Peacock.
The development deal keeps Borsiczky in the NBCUniversal fold. She most recently created the upcoming limited series “The Thing About Pam” starring Renee Zellweger for NBC. She was originally set to serve...

Hollywood acknowledges the existence of America’s proto- C.I.A. intelligence agency with this espionage tale of Yanks working with the resistance in occupied France. It’s basic cloak ‘n’ dagger action, with intrepid Alan Ladd and the daring Geraldine Fitzgerald risking life and limb to plant plastic explosive bombs. The details are fairly interesting: Ladd outwits the Gestapo by working with a turncoat inside their ranks. The outcome is grimly realistic, even if that old Paramount glamour is part of the package. The writer-producer is Richard Maibaum, who would later write almost thirty years’ worth of franchise James Bond 007 adventures.

This article contains Loki spoilers.
Now that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has gotten all timey-wimey, it’s not so simple to keep track of this massive franchise’s order of events. With Loki, the latest Marvel TV show to premiere on Disney+, Phase Four is delving even further into time travel, a narrative concept first properly introduced to the MCU in Avengers: Endgame when our titular heroes traveled back into their own timelines to collect the Infinity Stones needed to defeat Thanos.
For the most part, Endgame didn’t mess with the MCU’s own timeline, but rather tried to slot its timey-wimey shenanigans into the spaces of its established chronology. In the first episode of Loki, Agent Mobius (Owen Wilson) even tells Loki that all of the time travel done by the Avengers was part of the Sacred Timeline. It was all “meant” to happen, so it’s fine.
