Storyline

Rick Gassko is about to marry Debbie Thompson. Her parents hate him. Her old boyfriend hates him. They all have money and he gets a cut of the crap games on the Catholic school bus that he drives. His friends decide to give him the bachelor party of all bachelor parties in an expensive hotel with booze, adult movies and hookers. As the players catch wind of the elements of the party, each adds a little monkey wrench so that one set of hookers ends up giving demos at the bride's shower, the brides friends end up dressed as hookers in a room with a number of non English speaking Japanese businessmen, and so on, as things get out of hand. Trivia

Near the end of the film at the movie theater, they are supposedly showing a marathon of 3D films. Some are actual theatrical 3D releases, but most are made up. Those that are real films are "House of Wax", "Dial M For Murder" and "Comin' At Ya". All the others are fake, which include "Syborg" (which could be a parody title for "Metalstorm"), "The Bug" (which is a probably a parody title for the real 3D movie "Parasite"), "Biloxi (spelled wrong as "Boulxi") Blood Bath", "Chainsaw Child", "Hell House", "Battle For Berkeley", "Bat Beast", "Zenobia", "Pedestrian Bondage", "Glendale Girls Go Berserk", "Zulu", "Watts Wilderness", "Richard III", "Death Cult Bar-Mitsfa" and "Sioux City". There are a bunch of other titles on the right side marquee, but they are hard to read. See more »

Classic!!
28 February 2006 | by (Central Illinois) – See all my reviews

First of all, if you are thinking that this will be some wonderful, well thought out, well crafted artwork starring Tom Hanks, put the movie down and back away from the rack. Now flash back to 1984, when movies were inane and entertaining--solely for entertaining!!! As far as raunchy 80's humor goes, you won't find anything better that Bachelor Party. Yes, the humor is predictable. Yes, the sight gags are predictable. But this movie does it better than anyone else in it's genre (that would be raunchy comedy). Good girl falls for bad boy, plan to get married, but first the guys must be guys. "Let's have a party with liquor and drugs and guns and hookers and cops!" and they do. Don't ask for more than this movie can deliver, yet appreciate it for what it is!
