“I think it’s still challenging for women, especially being Latina,” continued Lopez. “Thinking about Selena 20 years ago, and to have a role like that, I was very lucky. I was very fortunate. But it’s still a struggle for women.”

Legend posed with his baby girl in what appears to be the lobby of their luxury hotel in Marrakech, where the "All of Me" singer, rocking a tropical Hawaiian shirt, sat with Luna on his lap.
"Vacation vibes," Legend captioned the super cute snapshot.
Luna isn't letting her vacation keep her away from her ever-growing intellectual pursuits, however. While her parents got ready to hit the town, Luna caught up on some "light vacation reading."
However, when Teigen and Legend were ready for their night out »
“We were always different,” Legend tells People in this week’s issue. “I was always a little bit more buttoned up, and she was always more brash and free.” The Ivy League educated musician, 38, hails from Springfield, Ohio while the spirited supermodel, 31, moved around throughout her adolescence before her parents settled in California when she was a teen. It’s there she was discovered while working in a surf shop.

John Legend’s Twitter account was briefly taken over by a hacker on Friday, with the “All of Me” singer later expressing admiration for the “vulgar and kinda hilarious” tweets issued through his account by the hacker. Captain Fantastic — 9-year-old Charlie Shotwell — sits down at a baby grand piano and casually begins tickling the ivories with an original classical composition (he's been taking lessons for a year and a half). After a few minutes, he gets up, and 10-year-old Saniyya Sidney, who appears in both Fences and Hidden Figures, takes his place. She bangs out the first few stanzas of John Legend's "All of Me," then turns the stool over to 11-year-old Shree Crooks, one of Shotwell's Captain Fantastic co-stars, »

The 38-year-old R&B singer and 31-year-old model star in a new video for Love magazine that has them adorably lip-syncing to Legend's 2004 ballad, "Ordinary People."
Teigen is certainly in the mood for love, as she's seen sporting super sexy lingerie in a special Valentine's Day photo shoot for the magazine. In one gif, Teigen rocks red latex gloves, heart sunglasses and a white bodysuit while holding a heart balloon and dancing a bit.
In an even sexier image, she's wearing only a heart tassels, a tiara, a pink fur coat, nude fishnets and platform shoes.
Romance radio host Delilah says she fields thousands of requests and dedications from her devoted millions-deep radio following who tune into her nationally syndicated show nightly. February is a particular busy time for the “Queen of Sappy Love Songs,” who is also known for advice-giving, as she highlights love songs and stories all month long.
“I really do think that putting expectations on a holiday is setting yourself up for failure,” Delilah, 56, tells People exclusively. “A lot of times, in our culture and our society, we put romantic love somehow on a higher plane than self-love and friendship love. You can’t do that. »

It’s time for The Exes to be exes again.
Look, it’s Ok. Not every Nashville couple is going to be the second coming of Deacon and Rayna. And Scarlett and Gunnar have been trotting around the relationship ring so long, even the rodeo clowns are bored with their on-again, off-again romantic shenanigans. It’s time for those particular ponies to gallop off in different directions, because they’re no good together anymore.
Elsewhere in the episode, Rayna and Deacon have trouble writing their album together, and Maddie »
What do you do when a Beatle calls you at Christmas to discuss a setlist? Or you’re broadcasting live to millions and your headlining artist is nowhere to be found? Or you’re tasked with overseeing a mass wedding? Or two very powerful stars aren’t happy about being seated next to each other?
Ken Ehrlich has seen it all. The TV veteran has been producing the Grammys since 1980, helping transform the ceremony into the music industry’s most exciting—and unpredictable—event. “Sometimes you do feel like the man behind the curtain,” he says with a laugh. The »

The cover video, which lets up-and-coming creators showcase their talents within familiar territory, is a staple of YouTube’s music community. Adjacent to an event at YouTube Space London celebrating MTV’s “Cover of the Month” initiative, the world’s top video site shared a list of the songs that stand as its most-covered tracks of all time. At the top of the list is “All of Me,” the popular ballad performed by John Legend.
With its powerful vocals, “All of Me” serves as the perfect canvas through which rising musical stars can show off their chops. Some covers of the song have received tens of millions of views, while Legend’s original music video has become one of a few dozen uploads to surpass one billion YouTube hits.
While discussing cover videos, YouTube also took some time to celebrate them. Its London event centered around the MTV contest that »

"Our vision of America is directly antithetical to that of President Trump," the 38-year-old R&B artist declared. "I want to specifically tonight reject his vision and affirm that America has to be better than that."
"Los Angeles is the home of so many immigrants, so many creative people, so many dreamers," he continued. "Our America is big, it is free, and it is open to dreamers of all races, all countries, all religions."
After the event, Legend told Et's Deidre Behar that it was his wife, Chrissy Teigen, who encouraged him to speak out. "I wouldn’t have said what I said tonight if my wife wasn't encouraging me the whole »

From The Desk Of Highway 65 Records’ Bucky Dawes
Great to have you in Nashville this week, love your work, happy to see you directing Scarlett and Gunnar’s new video. One thing: Rayna and I were talking, and I just wanted to touch base about a couple of line items in this bill your people submitted to Highway 65 for The Exes music video.
While I’m sure that “man-bun specialist” and “smeared lipstick remover” are perfectly respectful jobs, some of these peoples’ rates are a bit higher than what we’re comfortable with. »

Taron Egerton is, as he will tell you himself, easily best known for his role as Eggsy in Kingsman and its rapidly incoming sequel. In fact, so much of what I knew about Egerton comes from watching him in charm up the screen in Kingsman and Eddie The Eagle that I was a little surprised to see just how good a job he also does in Sing, playing a singing gorilla who’d rather tickle the ivories than drive get-away for his family of bank robbers. Singing is a particular skill of course but, as Egerton and I discussed, so is providing the voice of an animated character.
We met last week and chatted about Sing, Kingsman chapters two and beyond, and what else Egerton has on his To Do list. »
John Legend recalled an encounter where a paparazzo allegedly referred to him as a monkey.
The 38-year-old R&B singer's wife Chrissy Teigen tweeted last week that a photographer made a racial slur when they landed at JFK airport in New York City. "Paparazzi at JFK just asked me 'if we evolved from monkeys, why is John Legend still around?" she wrote.
On Saturday, Legend addressed the alleged comments made by the paparazzo during an interview with Variety Studio at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. "We were right next to each other and we looked at each other like, 'Did he really just say that?' And he really said it. He basically called me a monkey," he said.
"Black folks have had to deal with being called monkeys for a long time and dehumanization has always been a method of racism »
Chrissy Teigen is canceling on her husband, but not without cause.
The supermodel was to attend the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, this weekend -- in support of John Legend, who is a panelist for the show he executive produces, Wgn America’s Underground -- but decided on Friday, the day of Donald Trump's inauguration as president, to head to Washington, D.C., and participate in Saturday's Women's March on Washington protest instead.

"I was going to go to Sundance to support john tomorrow but feeling compelled to support my fellow women," Teigen tweeted. "See you at the women's march, DC."
"Prepping for tomorrow," Teigen later wrote while tweeting out a picture of a screengrab of the Google search: "can you get tear gassed if you're already crying."
