Season 1, Episode 1: Robin Hood and the Sorcerer

His family massacred by Norman soldiers, Robin takes on the mantle of the Hooded Man, a champion long prophesied. His first challenge is to free Maid Marion from the clutches of the evil, powerful Baron de Belleme.

Season 1, Episode 2: The Witch of Elsdon

22 March 1984
The beautiful Jennet of Elsdon rejects the amorous advances of the Sheriff's steward, Sir Guy of Gisburne, and is as a consequence accused of witchcraft by Sir Guy and imprisoned in the Nottingham Castle dungeons together with her husband. The Sheriff, however, realises that Jennet has been set up by his very "susceptible" steward and thus gives Jennet the opportunity to save her and her husband's lives in return for a "small favour". This is an offer that Jennet just cannot refuse...

Season 1, Episode 3: Seven Poor Knights from Acre

5 April 1984
Crusaders returning from Palestine have their holy symbol stolen by a blind professional thief. Fiercely hunted by the enraged crusaders, the thief runs into the Sherwood Forest outlaws, making the crusaders mistake them for the thief's accomplices. After a long chase, James ends up dead and Much a prisoner.

Season 1, Episode 4: Alan a Dale

12 April 1984
The Sheriff is getting short of cash and thus decides to get married - although he really hates women - to the 16-year-old Lady Mildred de Bracy, whom he knows will receive a fat dowry from her rich father. John starts to go "fishing" at Wickham, and a stranger with a broken heart and a very bad singing-voice makes his way through Sherwood.

Season 1, Episode 5: The King's Fool

29 March 1984
The outlaws save the life of Chevalier Deguise, who later turns out to be a disguised King Richard returning from imprisonment in the holy land. The King promises to pardon Robin and his gang members on condition that they go to fight for England and their King in the wars in Normandy. Robin agrees, but soon his band members begin to walk out on him, realising that something is not quite right with the King and all his promises.

Season 2, Episode 1: The Prophecy

17 December 1984
John has been taken prisoner at Nottingham and makes a friend in fellow prisoner Mark, who, after Robin has found an opportunity to free John and his new found friend, decides to join the band of outlaws. Due to Prince John's imminent arrival in Nottingham, Gisburne begins to repair the castle walls. When Prince John arrives, he brings with him a mysterious masked prisoner, who turns out to be a man returned from the dead.

Season 2, Episode 2: The Children of Israel

24 December 1984
The Sheriff has borrowed money from the rich Jew Joshua de Talmont, who makes his living as a "money-lender". Reluctant to return the money when the time is due, The Sheriff makes Gisburne arrange a riot in which all Jews in Nottingham will be killed. Gisburne, however, has got a few plans of his own, having secretly fallen in love with de Talmont's beautiful daughter Sarah. Meanwhile, Robin and Will have a major disagreement, resulting in Scarlet leaving the band of outlaws.

Season 2, Episode 3: Lord of the Trees

31 December 1984
Sherwood Forest and the neighbouring villages are celebrating "The Time of the Blessing", an annual forest tradition. Gisburne, left in charge while The Sheriff does his annual touring of the county, is alarmed by the increasing amount of poaching in the forest and thus invites his old war-friend Bertrand de Nivelle to Nottingham in order to put a stop to Robin Hood once and for all.

Season 2, Episode 4: The Enchantment

7 January 1985
Robin is put under a spell by the witch Lilith, who makes him steal Herne's Silver Arrow for her. Together with The Arrow, they head for Castle Belleme, where Lilith brings her dead master, Baron de Belleme, back to life. Gisburne, jealous of The Sheriff's new helper Ralph, also goes to Castle Belleme in order to search for the Baron's hidden jewels, and further, to murder Ralph.

Season 2, Episode 5: The Swords of Wayland

17 November 1984
The village of Uffcombe is getting nightly visits from strangely disguised riders, called "The Hounds of Lucifer" by locals, who kill and drag away terrified villagers. The riders have also been seen robbing a local church, badly hurting the priest who worked there. Gareth of Uffcombe decides to travel to Sherwood to ask "the people's hero" for help against these devils.

Season 2, Episode 6: The Greatest Enemy

14 January 1985
The Sheriff is ordered by the King to put a stop to Robin Hood once and for all, or else Robert de Rainault will lose all his power as sheriff. Using threats to set up an ambush at Wickham, and bloodhounds to follow the outlaws desperate attempt to escape back into the depths of Sherwood, it soon evolves into a dramatic life-or-death chase through the forest. In the end, Robin finds himself alone and surrounded by soldiers on an open field, realising that he must make the ultimate sacrifice in order to save his band members and continue to protect the people of England.

Season 3, Episode 1: Herne's Son: Part 1

5 April 1986
Robin of Loxley murdered and the band of outlaws in Sherwood scattered, Earl's son Robert of Huntingdon is chosen by forest god Herne the Hunter to continue Robin's work and lead the band of outlaws in Sherwood. Huntingdon, though appalled by the way the lords of the land treat the lower classes, is however not prepared to give up his titles, money and privileges in order to live in poverty, and moreover as an outcast, in Sherwood Forest. He swiftly changes his mind, however, when a pale and broken-hearted Lady Marion, whose rich father bought her pardon with the King after her husband's murder, comes to Huntingdon Castle for a dance and is slighted, ridiculed, and finally kidnapped by the other guests because of her notorious past.

Season 3, Episode 2: Herne's Son: Part 2

12 April 1986
Robert of Huntingdon gathers the outlaws back together one by one to rescue Marion out of Owen of Clun' clutches. Tuck he finds in Sherwood forest, Little John and Much are shepherds near Hathersage and Scarlett a drunk in Lichfield. Unknown to them, the final member of their band, Nasir, is already at Clun Castle, fighting for his life as a gladiator.

Season 3, Episode 3: The Power of Albion

19 April 1986
Rumours are spreading through Nottingham that Robin Hood is back from the dead with a vengeance and that the scattered band of outlaws are once again operating in Sherwood. Suspecting that the Lady Marion might try to communicate with her old friends if they are back in Sherwood, The Sheriff decides to have her home of Leaford Grange watched, thinking that she might help him discover how this miraculous recovery of her dead husband might have taken place.

Season 3, Episode 4: The Inheritance

26 April 1986
Tuck saves a young woman from being attacked in the forest and invites her back to camp. In the middle of the night, the woman wakes Robert and explains that she is the daughter of his godfather, Agrivane, and that the two of them, alone, must go to him at once at Carleon Castle. At Carleon, the dying Agrivane explains that he is leaving Robert a great inheritance but in order to get it, he first has to defend it. As they speak, Agrivane claims, a group of robbers and villains are approaching the castle, wanting to steal the treasure it keeps.

Season 3, Episode 5: The Sheriff of Nottingham

3 May 1986
The King has had enough of Robert de Rainault and hires a new Sheriff for the area, Philip Mark, who arrives in Nottingham together with his masked henchman Sarak. After having driven Robert de Rainault out of Nottingham, the new Sheriff announces that a group of random villagers from the Nottingham area will be killed off every day until Robin Hood decides to give himself up.

Season 3, Episode 6: The Cross of St. Ciricus

10 May 1986
Will and Much run into a group of lepers travelling through the forest and Will is instantly convinced that he is contaminated and doomed to a horrible and painful death. The outlaws save an old lady from being killed by robbers and, the lady being badly hurt, accompany her to the abbey to which she was travelling. Convinced, however, that she will die before they reach the abbey, the lady asks Friar Tuck to hear her confession. Tuck is in the end shocked by her admission, but also bound by the seal of confession.

Season 3, Episode 7: Cromm Cruac

17 May 1986
Much falls into a forester's trap and is badly wounded. Trying to find a village with a physician, the outlaws seem to get lost, finally ending up at Cromm Cruac, a small village none of them has ever heard of before. At Cromm Cruac nothing at first seems out of the ordinary. Soon, however, it dawns on them that there are no children in the village, everything seems "too sweet", and that Much - too quickly recovered to be normal - appears to have been brain-washed. When Will in addition run into his long-dead wife Elena, the outlaws conclude that something is seriously wrong at Cromm Cruac.

Season 3, Episode 8: The Betrayal

24 May 1986
King John is sick of constantly having the Nottingham tax money stolen by Robin Hood and his gang. Realising that Robin Hood thrives because the common people trust and support him, The King sets out to tarnish Robin Hood's reputation, and thus make the people turn against him. The King hires Roger de Carnac, also known as "The Carnage", who will set together a gang of "outlaw impersonators". Dressed as Robin Hood and his gang, they will kill, burn, and rob their way trough the villages of Nottingham.

Season 3, Episode 9: Adam Bell

31 May 1986
Much is caught by Gisburne while on a visit to Nottingham and placed in the Nottingham Castle dungeons, waiting to be hanged. The legendary outlaw Adam Bell returns to Nottingham, causing mayhem as he kidnaps The Sheriff's young nephew Martin. Realising that there is only one man who can outwit Adam Bell, The Sheriff, against all his principles, decides to make a deal with Robin Hood - "Your half-wit for my brat."

Season 3, Episode 10: The Pretender

7 June 1986
The King decides to divorce his queen and marry the 11-year-old Isabella of Angeloueme, making the outraged, overthrown Queen Hadwisa plotting with her relatives to make The King lose the throne altogether. The outlaws save the life of Arthur, who arrives in Sherwood chased by a gang of soldiers. Arthur claims to be a poor steward falsely accused of stealing from his master. However, with his fine manners and knowledge of Latin and poetry, the outlaws soon conclude that Arthur is not what he claims to be.

Season 3, Episode 11: Rutterkin

14 June 1986
John decides to marry his long-time girlfriend Meg and leave the band of outlaws. Their wedding plans are halted, however, when Lord Edgar, Robert's uncle, arrives in Sherwood Forest with the news that Robert's father has been accused of treason by the King. An anonymous informer has reportedly overheard the Earl hiring a witch in order to put an evil spell on the King. The King recently having been ill, and firmly believing that his illness was due to witchcraft, the Earl has been imprisoned. Robert must now clear his father's name, before it is too late.

Season 3, Episode 12: The Time of the Wolf: Part 1

21 June 1986
The Sheriff is ordered by The King to collect grain from the villages of Nottingham, as more provisions are needed for the troops in France. Knowing that the villagers will not survive the winter without their hard-earned grain, the outlaws secretly steal the grain back during the night, causing The Sheriff a lot of embarrassment when the King's men come to collect it in the morning. In desperation, The Sheriff blames the whole fiasco on Gisburne, resulting in Gisburne running away and a price being put on his head. Seeking sanctuary, Gisburne flees to Grimstone Abbey, but is not greeted by monks at the door...

Season 3, Episode 13: The Time of the Wolf: Part 2

28 June 1986
Gisburne has joined the Sons of Fenris and manages to capture Robin and his men as well as the Sheriff of Notingham. With Robin in his power, Gulnar completes his creature using dark magic and sends it on his way. Safe in Halstead Abbey, Marion foresees a tragedy at the Ring of the Nine Maidens and for Robin even victory may come with great loss.
