Storyline

When the students of Angel Beach High decide to stage "An Evening With Shakespeare," their efforts are threatened by Miss Balbricker, who views the works of Shakespeare as obscene. She enlists the help of Reverend Bubba Flavel, a religious fanatic who brings along his flock of followers to pressure the school into shutting down the production. When they succeed with the help of corrupt city officials seeking re-election, the gang don't get mad... they get even! Written by Phil Fernando

Trivia

Bob Clark directed this film at the same time he was helming A Christmas Story (1983). Even the "major award" (the racy mannequin's leg in fishnet stockings-lamp) makes an appearance when the kids are performing the swordfight scene of "MacBeth" onstage. See more »

Goofs

At least two different snakes are used when the boys want to scare Ms. Balbricker. The snake that Tommy pulls out of the box in the locker room is brownish in color, while the snake that they put into the sewer pipe is a much lighter, yellowish color. Then it returns to the brown color when it escapes into the gym. See more »

Quotes

Tommy: [After opening the correct pipe] Okay Billy, give me the snake.
Billy: Give you the snake? Get your own fuckin' snake, give you the snake!
[Grabs his crotch]
Billy: I got your snake right here.

what the hell did i just see? i had never taken the time to watch porky's 2 until tonight (on comedy central).

i found nothing funny about it, and i am a big comedy fan and can usually find some good in everything. i can't believe this came from the same director that did A CHRISTMAS STORY, one of my all time favorites.
