And now, we have a new shot from the movie, showing the family going to Walley World. Check it out below. In the new movie, Helms stars as Rusty Griswold, the grown-up son of Clark Griswold (Chase) who takes his family on a road trip similar to the one he, his parents and his sister took when he was young. Leslie Mann plays Audrey Griswold, sister of Rusty. She's married to Stone Crandall, an up-and-coming achorman to be played by Chris Hemsworth (Thor). "Vacation" is set to hit theaters on July 31st. Ed Helms is heading up the next generation of Griswolds in New Line's Vacation and the first two official pictures have just arrived featuring not only Helms as a grown-up Rusty Griswold, but Christina Applegate as his wife Debbie and their two sons -- Skyler Gisondo as James and Steele Stebbins as Kevin -- with plans for a cross-country trip back to America's "favorite family fun park," Walley World. As you can see from the pic above, Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo reprise their roles as Clark and Ellen Griswold from the classic Vacation films and the cast also includes Leslie Mann as Rusty's sister, Audrey, and Chris Hemsworth as Stone Crandall, Rusty's irritatingly successful brother-in-law. Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley are making their directorial debuts on the flick, which is hitting theaters on July 31. Check out one more picture below. »

The beloved National Lapoon's Vacation is getting the reboot treatment with the simply titled Vacation, which has the strange distinction of also being a sequel, and sees Ed Helms step into the shoes of Rusty Griswold as he takes a new generation of the accident prone clan on their own disaster filled trip to America's favorite family fun park, Walley World, before it closes forever. Warner Bros. have shared the first look at the continuing misadventures of the Griswolds, and it looks like Helms and Christina Applegate won't be the only Mr. and Mrs. Griswold, with Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo also making an appearance (as does the iconic Wagon Queen Family Truckster Station Wagon). The Vacation movies is a franchise a lot of people grew up with, so it will be interesting to see if this new version will live up to expectations. Released: 31st July (U.S)/ 13th November (Irl/U. »

All hail the return of the Griswold family! In this first image from the upcoming reboot/sequel, simply titled Vacation (in theaters July 31), we get our first look at the grown-up Rusty (Ed Helms), his wife (Christina Applegate) and two sons alongside the Og Griswolds, Clark (Chevy Chase) and Ellen (Beverly D'Angelo). But wait! There's another character there, too! You'll notice the family posing in front of a station wagon, which happens to look exactly like the old Wagon Queen Family Truckster from the original Vacation. Remember this scene? And this one? Seeing as the new Vacation finds Rusty taking his own family on a cross-country trip to Walley World, we're guessing he's looking to recreate that original...

The Griswolds are at it again! New Line Cinema just released the first photos of the cast from the new "Vacation" movie, which will follow the next generation of the Griswold family. Ed Helms plays the now grown-up son of Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase), Rusty Griswold, while Christina Applegate joins the pack as Rusty's wife, Debbie Griswold. This time around, Rusty and his family will find themselves on another family vacation gone awry, as they take to the road for some "much-needed family bonding" time to visit Walley World. The Griswolds are heading back to Walley World in this reboot of the 1983 film National Lampoon's Vacation. And it looks like one of their stops, intentionally or not, is in the Mojave Desert. The cast of Vacation, comprised of Ed Helms, Christina Applegate, along with their two on-screen sons, played by Skylar Gisondo and Steele Stebbins, was seen on the Mojave Desert set Wednesday filming. Similar to the original film, the reboot is centered around now-grown up Rusty Griswold taking his family on a cross-country trip back to America's "favorite family fun park," Walley World. From the looks of these pics, it looks like this on-screen family is set to be stuck in a desert dilemma, »

When we featured our list of the 20 Most Anticipated Films of 2015, one of the comedies on the list was the reboot of the 1983 classic comedy National Lampoon's Vacation. Now the film is simply called Vacation, but there are still solid ties to the original franchise with Ed Helms leading the film as a grown up Rusty Griswald, getting ready to take his own family out on a vacation just like his father (Chevy Chase) and mother (Beverly D'Angelo) did when he was a kid. The two original stars of the four-film comedy franchise reprise their roles as Clark and Ellen Griswold, and now we have an official first look at the film. Here's the first photo from John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein's Vacation (via USA Today): Vacation is written and directed by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein, the writers of Horrible Bosses and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, making their directorial debut. »

The middle of Spring actually means a new selection of summer blockbusters to look forward to, and with a ton of big-budget films slated to come out within the next few months and beyond, the summer of 2015 looks like one to remember.

From May 1st right through to the end of August, some of the movies on our list could wind up on year-end “best of” lists or even receive some Oscar talk by December.

Last week, some new images from a slew of upcoming films were unveiled in the spirit of previewing the impending Summer Movie Season. Today, even more new images have been released from three very interesting—and very different—Warner Bros. films. Director Joe Wright (Atonement, Hanna) re-envisions the classic J.M. Barrie tale Pan in the action adventure pic, which stars Hugh Jackman as the villainous Blackbeard, Garrett Hedlund as Hook, Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily, and newcomer Levi Miller as Peter. The film opens in theaters on July 24th. The highly anticipated sequel Magic Mike Xxl finds director Steven Soderbergh steeping back into the roles of cinematographer, camera operator, and editor while Gregory Jacobs takes the helm. Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash, Adam Rodriguez, and Gabriel Iglesias reprise their roles and are joined by newcomers Amber Heard, Donald Glover, Elizabeth Banks, and Jada Pinkett Smith. Like Ghostbusters and Gremlins, a sequel/reboot to the National Lampoon Vacation series was inevitable. Some find it to be ill-advised since the movies have not been all that great since Christmas Vacation even though Vegas Vacation is a bit underrated. So, when word came down that Ed Helms would play an adult version of Rusty, fans were divided. When Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo agreed to return, more people were convinced. In the first official image from the new Vacation, we see Ed »
