Storyline

Vikram (Amjad Khan) is arrested for possession of drugs, but claims that he was framed by Rajan (Sujit Kumar), his associate, but no one believes him. Desperately he turns to his lawyer friend, Vikram, only to have himself prosecuted at his very hands. Vikram gets sentenced, and upon his release goes to Amit and asks him to negotiate to get him his share of their former business from Rajan. Amit agrees to do so, but the negotiation gets bitter, argument ensues, followed by fisticuffs and use of firearms, which lead to the death of Rajan. It is now Amit's turn to be on the run from the law, as his pleas that he acted in self-defense are ignored, and there is no one to turn to for help. Amit's pregnant wife, Janki, asks him to run away somewhere safe, while she re-locates to another city until his file is closed or set aside. Amit runs to nearby Nepal, while Janki gives birth to twins. Unfortunately, for her the twins and her get separated. She does manage to find Shankar, but there is ... Typical Amitabh Junk from the bottom of the bin
14 March 2009 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

This film is an example of how to mint money from poor customers and lure them into watching a film as badly acted and directed as this. Well, there are three Amitabhs, two of them stick to his typical angry man )1 young, 1 old) routine while the third one is an over the top character that Amitabh fails miserably to play. He overacts in a lot of scenes and fights scenes are so cheesy that you can feel them slipping away. Amitabh had put on weight by this film. He is stuffed and you can see his belly hanging out in so many scenes. As bad as Amitabh is, producers roped in Zeenat Aman and Perveen Bobby to lead roles. Their input is insignificant and hardly help the story. Villains include Shakti Kapoor, Amjad Khan and Kader Khan among others. However again none of them is allowed to develop to accommodate maximum footage for Amitabh. Thankfully the film was rejected outrightly by the public back in 1983 and was a major flop in Amitabh's career. Its unbelievable how far connections to politicians can get you in Bollywood when your acting skills are are so worthless.
