This is a great movie, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's a BASEBALL movie.
It is, however, a movie about a young lady who believes she is talented enough to play on a MLB team! Mimi Rogers, her manager does everything in her power to get her a tryout. And you'll catch a glimpse of her chewing on tobacco and spitting into a spittoon!
The cast of characters is great. Dana Elcar you'll recognize from McGuyver. He's quite pessimistic of the girl's talents, but soon becomes a fan and quite a huge supporter (no pun intended).
Harry Hamlin plays as an eccentric owner who really doesn't know squat about baseball or players for that matter.
This is just meant to be a FUN MOVIE and it is. Please see this. You won't be sorry!
