Carpenter's progress chart contained 31 lines suggesting there were 31 players. Only 20 lines were shown close enough to read the names though. The legible section of the chart contained the following names from top to bottom: C Sterns, W Pickett, H Johnson, S Swayze, A Neumen, D Swanson, B McTell, M Douglas, T Wallace, S Fraley, R Simonetti, M Holmes, L Gersh, G Nelson, R Johnson, E Presely, N McCauley, B Gowdy, N Wilson and J Schooster. Obviously it was not in alphabetical order or any discernible semblance. The part of the chart above the section containing these names was never shown close enough to be legible but presumably had 11 names. Connally, Gersh's kill in the opening scene, is not among the 20 nor is one of Susan's kills, Richard Chudnow. Particularly odd is that neither is one of Gersh's murder victims. Alex was checking off who killed each missing TAG player but he never checked who killed March, the last person on his list. We are only given the last name March for this victim and have to assume Gersh killed him as well. In addition some of the 20 listed were terminated by 2 names not among those 20. Thus we can assume that T Meyers, D Morsky as well as Connally, Chudnow and March are among the 11 names that preceded the 20 we can read. The progress report chart in Carpenter's car only had 14 lines oddly enough. See more »
In the second scene Susan ducks as Schooster and Charlie shoot at her thus they shoot and kill one another. Yet on Carpenter's progress chart "S. Swayse" (note the misspelling with an S in place of the Z) is credited with J. Schooster's kill. See more »
I remember watching this on HBO when I was like 12 years old. Thsi movie was cool then, but I haven't seen it since then. The funny thing is, when I went to U of Miami for college in 1990, we actually played a version of this game on campus. The campus was nuts playing this game too. You never knew who to trust. I do not think this movie is available on DVD at this point, and I think thats way it is not seen as a cult classic like others like it from the same era. Its just not available and no one uses VHS anymore. If they release it on DVD at anytime, check it out. it might be dated now, but it was still good. Good actors in it too.
