Several versions of Lucio Fulci's slasher movie were released in the UK. Though it's always the same scene that was modified, the modifications themselves are different. Sometimes the cut is a bit longer, sometimes shorter. An uncut version hasn't been released so far. The most recent certification by the BBFC was in 2011, where it received 29 seconds of cuts for "sexualised violence (a naked and bound woman's stomach and breasts being mutilated with a razor blade)".A detailed comparison between both versions with pictures can be found here.Although the film is often associated with the notorious 'Video Nasties' panic in the early 80s, it was never actually on any of the DPP's lists. While it was rejected by the BBFC, it was not classed as a 'video nasty'.In the States an R-Rated Version was released as well that misses out more than four minutes of sex scenes and nudity whereas all the gore scenes are still included. Again one can see a detailed comparison between the R-Rated and Uncensored Version over here.
