Profanity

There is only one use of the word "Damn" in the entire picture.

A cat's food is drugged by a mouse and you see the cat asleep with one unfocusing eye open.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: 7/10

There are a some suspensful scenes throughout the film, including a scene where a giant spider is about to kill Mrs. Brisby, until the Great Owl squashes it with a loud squishing sound effect to increase tension.

There is a non violent but very, very disturbing scene dealing with animal testing. Nothing explicit is shown but it's very realiticly made and intense.

The main villain Explains very explicitely to one of his partners that he's going to kill one of the main characters

The film's atmosphere and animation are MUCH darker than most G-rated films. Younger children may be creeped out of the overall feeling of the movie.
