Hey, retro junkies! Shout! Factory have announced a nifty 3D Blu-ray release of the 1983 sci-fi romp, Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn. It also comes with a regular Blu-ray.

This otherworldly action film was directed by Empire Pictures founder Charles Band (Parasite, Trancers) and also features his Trancers star Tim Thomerson (Near Dark).
