Somewhat bizarre live action portrayal of Alice in Wonderland. This is one of the best live action ones ever made. My favorite thing about it is that it wasn't turned into an ultra-happy musical. The costumes are superb, the actors are great, except that Annie Enneking is obviously a stage actor, you can tell because she practically yells her lines with far too much emotion. It gets quite annoying after a while. Most Alice in Wonderland adaptations can be put into two categories, dream, and nightmare. This particular one falls closer to the nightmare category. Some of the characters in it are really quite frightening looking and the music is kind of dissonant. If you must see a live-action Alice, then you should either watch this one, or the 1972 British one titled "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland", which stars Fiona Fullerton and also has Peter Sellers in it. The corniest one I ever saw was the 1985 ultra-happy big budget musical which starred worn out old actors.
