Hank Williams: The Show He Never Gave (1980) Poster

Trivia

Sneezy Waters, who plays Hank Williams, changes the lyrics to the song "Too Many Parties (Too Many Pals)". The original song sung by Hank is about a lawyer defending a wayward woman. The version Sneezy sings in the movie is about a man who turns out to be the lawyer's brother.

Sneezy's version of Hank's song "Men With Broken Hearts" differs from Hank's original version. Sneezy sings some lines out of order and adds the following lines: "and even sleep brings no relief to these men who curse their births/they have no dreams of happiness left in heaven or on earth/for how can men have faith in God when faith in fellow man departs".
