Storyline

The year is 1995 and Michael Stringer is the only private eye left on Earth. One day, he is assigned by a woman to investigate Eden Isle, a complex for people who want a perfect life started by an industrialist named Korter. Interestingly, Korter is found on a beach and is 20 years younger than he was before. When he gets into the complex, he is caught in a web of mystery that he might not get out of. Interesting little movie
17 August 2008 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I saw this movie when it first aired, thought it was so far fetched that no one would be it.

But the story of a man continuing in a field that basically has been "progressed" out of existence, is not that far fetched now.

Also, a man holding on to things of the past, that don't exist anyway else, isn't that far fetched now.

The idea that the large urban areas would be hyper-tech and the outlying areas would still be using things of the past isn't that far fetched now.

Cloning was considered far fetched, not anymore The movie itself is a unique idea, but wasn't used to its full potential.

The acting is fair to good.

This movie might be worth revisiting as a remake, with the technology we have now, it would be interesting.

I gave it a 6 for the idea, premise, and acting.
