Summaries

  • In the tradition of other cop shows like "Miami Vice" and "Car 54, Where Are You?", this series is no exception. The viewer follows the exploits of T.J. Hooker and Vince Romano as police officers, as they track criminals and enforce the law.

  • Sgt. T.J. Hooker is a veteran policeman with a strong hatred of the criminal element. He has declined numerous promotions because of a strong need to be out on the "streets" battling crime, and not wasting his skills and passion pushing pencils behind a desk. He cruises the city in a squad car with his headstrong rookie partner Vince Romano, and when not cruising his beat, can be found teaching new recruits at the police academy. Sexy Stacy Sheridan is another rookie cop and the daughter of Hooker's commanding officer. Jim Corrigan is another veteran officer and Stacy's partner.

  • T.J. Hooker is a veteran cop, who rose to the rank of detective but when his partner dies in his arms, Hooker decides to give up being a detective to be a patrolman again. He starts a program wherein rookies are given practical training and the rookie he is assigned is Vince Romano, a cocky kid. And they always butted heads with detectives who don't appreciate Hooker's interference. They answer to Captain Sheridan. During the show's next season, Sheridan's daughter, Stacy joins the department and works at the desk. During the third season, Captain Sheridan was seen less frequently and Stacy began working in the streets under the eye of Officer Jim Corrigan.

  • The weekly adventures of tough-as-nails veteran police officer Sgt. T.J. Hooker, who rides the beat with his rookie partner Vince Romano.
