Storyline

Matthew Star was a prince on the planet Quadris, who was forced to flee to Earth when his planet's government was overthrown by despots. On Earth, he took the form of an ordinary high-school student (albeit one with superpowers), and was accompanied by his guardian Walt, who became the school's science teacher. The American government knew of Matthew and Walt's origin, and used them to act as agents on occasion. Written by Marty McKee <mmckee@wkio.com>

Trivia

In the alternative pilot, Matthew was called "David". He did not know about his true heritage or his powers, and also had a different guardian. The alternative pilot eventually aired as a "lost" episode. Peter Barton did a voiceover at the start in order to explain the differences between it and the rest of the series. See more »

Powers of M.S. great series!
18 June 2006 | by (Netherlands) – See all my reviews

Hi from Holland.

I watched some Matthew Star episodes when I was about 9 or 10 years old, but I never found video's of this great series.

I remember some things of the program, but not many. All I know is that I was very interested.

In Holland I still cannot find any video of Matthew Star, I hope someone is willing to send me a videotape of this series. I'm willing to pay for it.

Please write me if you can help me.

Jan
