Well, don't ask how I suddenly was reminded, that this cartoon show oddity exist. I saw it a lot as a kid, and I think it was the first example of Japanese cartoons(or the Japanese word "anime" which many seems to prefer) presented for me. Eventually, it could even be the first impression of Japan I ever had. If it then was a fair image I got, am I not sure about. I probably have to see it again to judge that. As I remember, the animation and sound editing was dreadful. Each episode was about three kids, who traveled in time along with a kind scientist and his silly robot sidekick. Actually, they were only traveling through the stories of the new testament(though, I remember I saw a scene with a dinosaur in the intro song!). They had close encounters with Jesus, among many others, the bible stories were followed quite well, but beside the three brats, many other characters were added. So I'm not sure if this was meant to educate or entertain. Whatever the goal was, I never found the show to be very entertaining. I quickly got bored of all those dry bible stories, and I never started to believe in Jesus myself. So...
