Roger opened the show with a surprised positive review for "Oh God, You Devil" which he compared to the works of Frank Capra, Gene agreed. Neither liked "American Dreamer" though Roger's thumb was a little more negative than Gene's. They split on Brian DePalma's "Body Double which Roger liked a lot, but Gene lost interest once the killer started using a power drill. Finally, neither could recommend "Crimes of Passion" due to Anthony Perkins over-the-top performance.
