Storyline

Bennu is an alien from another world who is discovered buried in a Peruvian sarcophagus. He is brought back to life with only vague memories of some sort of mission he was to perform on Earth on behalf of his home planet. Unfortunately, the American and Peruvian governments wish to capture and study Bennu, so he escapes in order to discover the meaning of his journey to Earth.

Must have had some Impact

I saw like five episodes back when it ran in my youth. I can remember how he used that cool necklace with a phoenix on the front to grow stronger or just wield his powers. I thought it was so cool that I made a necklace like that for myself. I think it actually had something of a placebo effect because I did lift objects that didn't go up without it for a while.
