Michael Bay’s 451 Media Group is launching an interactive publishing division to offer content from printed graphic novels with digital video.

The graphic novels will debut at New York Comic-Con in early October, with 451 Media offering a sneak peak of the content on Machinima.

The creators for 451’s graphic novels include Scott Rosenberg (“Con Air”), Skip Woods (“Wolverine”), George Pelecanos (“The Wire”), Mark Mallouk (“Black Mass”), Clay McLeod Chapman (“The Avengers”) and Peter and Paul Williams (vfx for “Avatar,” “The Avengers”).

451 Media is touting Touchcode technology from T+ink to span print and digital worlds, in which ink used in the printing process of graphic novels published by 451 will unlock access to exclusive content on users’ touch-screen-enabled mobile and tablet devices.

Knock Knock review: ‘enjoyable, entertaining but somewhat infuriating’

Knock Knock review: Eli Roth’s new horror movie that stars Keanu Reeves is ‘enjoyable, entertaining but somewhat infuriating.’ Knock Knock review

Director: Eli Roth

Cast: Keanu Reeves, Lorenza Izzo, Ana De Armas, Colleen Camp

Certificate: 18

Running Time: 99 Minutes

Synopsis: Family man Evan (Reeves) finds his wedding vows tested after rescuing two young women, Genesis (Izzo) and Bel (De Armas), during a stormy night.

Perpetually cast as a bachelor, Reeves struggles during the opening moments of Knock Knock to convincingly play the husband and father role of Evan. His acting is a little hammy and over-the-top, and doesn’t feel all that natural. Thankfully this only lasts through the opening sequence, as soon enough Evan is left home alone so that he can get some work done.

Once on his own Reeves is back in his comfort zone as he channels a bumbling Hugh Grant for his first encounter with his unexpected houseguests. »
