Storyline

Sandro is a Roman adrift in Venice during Carnival. As he enters midlife, he argues with his wife of sixteen years more often than they laugh or make love. She's had enough of his moods, so they separate so he can sort out his mind. His first night away, he sees a photograph of a nude; the image resembles his wife. He searches for the model, whose name is Riri. He finds her, and she looks exactly like his wife, except that Riri is a gaily attired prostitute and Laura is a self-contained antiquarian bookseller. Are they two women, are they one, and in the masquarade of Carnival, what is real? Written by <jhailey@hotmail.com>

Huh?
2 May 2004 | by (Paris) – See all my reviews

I loved the scenery in the film. The acting was mediocre. It was one of those movies that confuses you. I did not get what was going on from the beginning till the end of the movie. Every time I saw a blonde woman, I thought there was a new character, but it was just that Elanora woman. She looks quite different at different angles. At times, I thought she was Beatrice. Beatrice had a small role, but she acted very well. I liked her in the other films she had done. If you like a movie that will throw you off at times, but is somewhat enjoyable, Nudo di donna fits you. I give it a 7 out of 10.
