Revealing mistakes

When Fox is loading his rifle just before the confrontation at the bus, you can clearly see the crimped ends of the blank rounds he's loading.

When the song "Brown Sugar" plays at the disco, the second verse of the song is heard several times.

Character error

When DaSilva and Fox are at the first Tram scene, they are wearing jumpsuits with Sergeant's stripes but wearing Detective's badges. Additionally, when DaSilva lands on the Tugboat, another person is in a jumpsuit with Sergeant's stripes but wearing a Police Officer's badge.

The subway train accelerates slowly as Deke and Fox chase it down the platform. However, when they are putting their guns in their holsters, the train is accelerating much faster.

During the subway sequence, the storm door on the last car of the train has a large single pane of glass in some scenes and two smaller panes in other scenes.

The train is correctly marked as a B train as Deke and Fox chase it down the platform. When Deke prepares to kick out the window, the route sign directly above him is displaying an S.

During the subway train chase, Wulfgar discards his female hostage and the camera follows him towards the next carriage in which a standing couple can be seen ahead of him. This is the same couple he subsequently shoves aside in his next scene after firstly passing through a further carriage.

During the opening sequence as DaSilva chases the mugger along the station platform, headlights of approaching trains from both directions can be seen. However, these disappear once DaSilva removes his coat belt to tackle the mugger.

Errors in geography

Near the start of the tramway situation, DaSilva boards an ATAC copter from a near the East River south of the Queensboro Bridge and the Roosevelt Island tram, at approximately 40th Street. The copter is shown lifting off and beginning to head uptown (north) towards the bridge (also known as the "59th Street Bridge", which is north of 40th Street). The next cut is to a camera angle from inside the copter looking forward over DaSilva's shoulder, but the particular area of Roosevelt Island shown on his left is its *southern* end, suggesting that the copter is now coming *from* the north and is heading *south*. In the next cut, DaSilva says "go over the bridge", and the copter approaches it from the south, heading north again.

Factual errors

When the bus Wulfgar is driving begins to accelerate, it would be impossible because the doors are open.

In one scene Pam says she flies Pan Am coast to coast. Pan American Airlines (Pan Am) only flew internationally from and to the U.S. To fly Pan Am between Coasts of the United States, one would have to leave the country at some point, land in a foreign country, and take another flight back.

Miscellaneous

Wulfgar kills the three British cops and Kenna in the stairwell. Somehow nobody hears the full clip of automatic rounds he discharges, and yet they all hear the woman scream.

Revealing mistakes

When Deke is firing a revolver at the police target range, the paper target's holes face towards him as if a small explosion went off behind them (squibs). Also the wires that held and were used to detonate the squibs are seen hanging out of the holes. Real police bullets leave small holes in paper targets.

Spoilers

The goof item below may give away important plot points.

Continuity

At the end, when Deke shoots Wulfgar for the first time and they show him reacting, he has exactly two symmetric bullet wounds on both shoulders even though he was only shot once.

At the end, Deke shoots Wulfgar. Wulfgar falls backwards against a door that opens to the inside. Yet in the next shot, you see him outside as if he had fallen through the door onto the outside stairs. Since the door opens to the inside, this is impossible.
