Isn't as outrageous as it could've been, but still hilarious and entertaining trash, 20 February 2007

By any definition, this is a horrible movie. The production values are basically non-existent, the screenplay and direction are abyssal, and the film operates on a gimmick. Its saving grace is that its unintentionally hilarious and has a fascinating gimmick. I mean whose morbid curiosity wouldn't be peaked by an action movie about cops fighting a mob enforcer with no legs? Any cult or psychotronic fan really needs to check this out. The fight sequences involving Mr. No Legs are priceless and should go down in cult history. The odd thing is that this cheap-jack production actually got some sizable names to be in it. John Agar, Lloyd Bochner, and Richard Jaeckel weren't big names but could certainly do better than this.

The film doesn't reaches the heights it could've. I'd like it better if Mr. No Legs was cast as one of the heroes. There's too much of the bland stars and not nearly enough of him. Still, the scenes where he springs into action are entirely worth it. Also, this film has both the most bizarre bar fight and the most unexciting car chase I've seen. "Mr. No Legs" should have had more of the title star but is still a lovably loopy production. For all its ineptitude, "Mr. No Legs" is never boring. Recommended for fans of either "For Your Height Only" or "The Crippled Masters". (5/10)
